Terms of Service

Payment is required up front so that we can source your magical ingredients, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! Win win for all of us!

No show = no cookies. These cookies are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed upon pick up window of one hour forfeits your order. But do not fret—we'll donate to a family in need. Need to reschedule your order? Please email us at hello@lunchboxcookies.com no later than 2 days before your pick-up so we can help.

Refunds.  We can offer refunds up to 12 hours after the payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, we cannot longer offer refunds as our Head Baker will be up to his elbows in flour prepping your order. But the good news—you get  cookies! 

Delivery Clause. All orders are pick-up only. If you'd like to have your order delivered, please schedule a service like Uber/Lyft to come pick them up during the LAST available time slot for the day. Make sure to: 1. ) include it in your notes when placing your order, and 2. ) text us an update with your driver's info and order number to (213) 545-6357 so we know who to wait for outside. Otherwise we might hand it out to a complete stranger—a happy stranger nonetheless.

Pick-up Dates and Times. They are  set upon ordering. We do bulk pick-up dates to accommodate most schedules—so tell Siri/Alexa/Bixby to add "Lunchbox pick-up" to your calendar!

Change Cutoff. Decisions are tough! But we're here to help. If you changed your mind as to which cookie flavors you want in your box, please email us at hello@lunchboxcookies.com within 12 hours of placing your order, along with your order confirmation number. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.

Covid Care. We know that you can't control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid, and we want to work with you. If there's an unforeseen circumstance (such as illness) stopping you from making it to the pick up, let us know the day before so we can keep your cookies frozen. That way, they'll stay fresh while you stay home and rest, and you can swing by during the next scheduled pick-up date.

In a hurry? While we can't accommodate all last minute orders, we make our best effort to do so. Special orders placed with a turnaround time of (but no less than) 3 days will require a rush fee of $50.

Price Adjustments. All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. We're always trying to provide the best tasting cookies, which means we can't honor old pricing (just like the local grocery store won't honor their old flour prices—darn it!).

Eenie Meenie Order Minimums. (oops, that didn't rhyme—we make cookies not poems!). We require a minimum order of 4 big cookies (or 8 minis) per order. Need fewer? Stay tuned for single-cookie orders coming soon.

It's All Yours Now. Once you pick-up your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies and car doors (we hate door dings) is all on you! Keep 'em safe, keep 'em cool, and keep 'em away from salivating doggies—most of our cookies have some kind of chocolate and your pups won't appreciate it.

Achoo! Allergies? Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. Please visit our Current Flavors page to see which ingredients might not sit well with you. Our kitchen is not nut free, soy free, gluten free. Boring disclaimer, but we have to say it 'cus we care <3

In Sickness and in Health. While death will never do us part, you're consuming food and with the consumption of anything (including that bottle of wine last night) there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities—albeit, hopefully far reaching. 

Pay means Yay. Once you've submitted (awesome) payment for your (awesome) order because you're awesome, you're accepting the above terms. Which is awesome because our cookies are awesome. Awesome.
